OUR STORY
NeuralPositive, the sole holder of the only US patent for “medical-grade music,” is a deep tech company that originated from sponsored research at Columbia and Cornell. In August 2020, we spun out from the Jacobs Technion Institute at Cornell Tech. Since then, we have been dedicated to developing and validating our core technology, aiming for FDA approval under the SAMD AI category.
Our founders, driven by a mission to enhance mental wellness, come from a close-knit group of friends and family. Our team is a diverse blend of world-class scientists, physician-scientists, clinicians, technologists, musicians, and business experts, all committed to harnessing the transformative power of music.
Our origins in the Runway Program at the Jacobs Technion Institute at Cornell Tech provided us with multi-year grants, enabling our founders to develop unique insights into the brain, behavior, basic sciences, the therapeutic potential of music, and the power of AI and ubiquitous computing.
Our flagship product line has been validated to reduce anxiety, with our first clinical study’s results presented at the American Academy of Neurology in Q2 2024. Recent user experience and observational studies at partner clinics in California and New York have further validated our app's effectiveness in managing symptoms associated with CNS diseases and disorders remotely.
